In the UK there are two groups who represent or discuss schools photography
SchoolPhotoPro is an informal group with a very active forum. They have their second meeting the Tuesday of Focus - which I'll be speaking at. It is really for smal independant photographers. A second, more formal group - SPPA is part of the PMA group - and has a meeting every year in the states - which I have spoken at before - and is a superb 3 day meeting - usually in Las Vegas. Every two years they have a meeting in the UK - which will probably be in July - which I've spoken at for the past three.... You'll find the big boys are all there too.
The S5 can accept GPS data. There are a number of ways of connecting the camera.
The most simple is to buy a GPS unit designed for the purpose - there are a few - the one I use is Dawn Tech N2. This will cost you around £200 - don't forget that you'll have to pay duty, VAT & Fedex admin fees!
You can also buy a Nikon MC-35 cable from Nikon - which lets you connect any RS232 cable. The third option is to get a Bluetooth adapter. There are a few comming onto the market. I bought mine from Foolography.
The very newest GPS units can also have a digital compass - so you can even tell which direction the camera is pointing!
This is the short slideshow with a fraction of the 70,000 images taken with my S5 in the past year
